At New Forest Kitchens, we understand that sometimes there just isn’t enough hours in the day to get everything done. More often than not, it’s easier to pay for a professional to complete a task for you to save you time. When it comes to designing your kitchen, many kitchen retailers will charge a fee to complete a survey. Considering the design skills and time that go into completing a full kitchen survey we are not surprised. That being said, we prefer to offer our customers a FREE kitchen survey. Why? Well, because we can. Not having a showroom means we don’t have the same overheads as other retailers and therefore not pressured in the same way to reach higher margins. We are able to provide our customers with a complete end to end service at a price our competitors are envious of.
Design Service
Our experienced kitchen designer will meet with you at your home where you will discuss what ideas you have in mind for your new kitchen. From door ranges, worktops & storage options to appliances, door handles and lighting. If the thought of all those choices seems overwhelming, don’t worry, our designers are there to offer advice and help when it comes to what options might be more suitable for your lifestyle.
We will complete a full measure up of the kitchen space and discuss any potential building renovations to ensure we work everything into the design. Once all the details have been collated, it’s back to the office to bring it all together. Your survey includes a full set of drawings, realistic images to help you visualise your new space and an itemised quotation detailing all the furniture needed for your kitchen.
When we return to you to discuss the design further and make any potential tweaks, we will bring along our door, worktop & glass samples as needed.
Fitting your kitchen
Deciding who is going to fit your kitchen is an important choice and one that is often overlooked or not taken seriously. Your fitter is the difference between a great conclusion to the kitchen fit and a poor one. The designer can do the best design in the world but if you have a bad fitter, it will show in the end result.
When you choose your fitter it’s important they come recommended, your able to see their work and it’s someone you feel you can trust. A good fitter will be keen to see your detailed design plan to ensure they can give you as accurate price as possible up front.
If you have a fitter in mind, that’s great. But if you don’t already have someone in mind, we have a fitting team that we can highly recommend. A good fitter is worth keeping, that’s why we have used the same trusted fitting team for all of our fitted kitchens.
Check, double check, triple check
Before we place your kitchen order every detail will be double checked to ensure that absolutely everything is just as you want it first time. This check will include a complete review of the order and design detail both by New Forest Kitchens and our manufacturers. If you decide to have us install and manage your kitchen project our qualified fitters will carry out a detailed technical survey. Upon completion our designer will then carry our a final check with you to ensure that your kitchen is installed to New Forest Kitchens exacting standards.
